Analysis and development of the constructivist model in higher education, towards new approaches of vision for the future

The twenty-first century, brings with it the entrance of new changes and transformations, social, economic and policy, what us recasts to address, new models and approaches of teaching in higher education, maintaining the avant-garde, in the art of the University teaching that meets the purpose of growth and acquisition of new skills in learners.

The arrival of the new Millennium makes us take serious, awareness of the social, political, economic, technological and demographic transformation among other elements of the Macro-ambiente, to which our true industry in higher education, falls to promote spaces of interaction and growth, in which the learner feel the opportunity to exploit and develop their skills through practice and direct experience of acquisition of knowledge, processes, with the aim of promoting the construction of the model know - learning.

Therefore it is important to take the baton in the processes of learning in the University classroom, the teacher is able to discover together with the student, new forms of construction of knowledge, enabling aspects of planning, organization, management and Control, in the process of evolution and academic growth.

It is in is part of the process of constructivism, which should be discussed as a respond to a range of expectations surrounding the model of knowledge creation, they provide a high-level training, in the future professionals of the Costa Rican labour market, that our country is no exception to the integration in the global village, in which we find ourselves.

The constructivist model is a focus of study, University Professor must contemplate, for the implementation of new teaching strategies, using the concept of build, with the aim that the learner, see their learning process, as an interactive way, that allows you to create critical and reflective, thinking when propicié their participation in exhibitions, round tables and forumsto facilitate the mastery of skills and competencies, as curricular profile.

Our Costa Rican society, is currently in transition processes towards finding, new stages of development, to be a young culture, it is normal to face big obstacles, to implement new approaches and models of construction of educational thought.

That the foregoing makes us see, that you can create new educational paradigms, in order to foster participation and critical thinking, in the College student, more should however think rationally; that to achieve this must exist, a process of long-term planning.

For a very simple reason as mentioned it in ancient Rome "Marcus Tullius Cicero, Rome wasn't built in a day".
